Helicopters are bucketing to cool and slow fire activity on the west side of the Hozomeen Mountain wildfire today (July 28).Crews are working to establish contingency lines and guards as appropriate, in collaboration with BC Parks.We continue to collaborate closely with our partners in the US Forest Service and North Cascades National Park to support values protection in the area. The Hozomeen Mountain wildfire (V10885) is a part of the Manning Park Complex of wildfires.This fire originated on the U.S. side of the Canada-U.S. border in Washington State and has now spread across the border into Canada.
