    July 27 Weather Yesterday, July 26, areas of the fire centre received minimal amounts of precipitation, while not sufficient or widespread enough to have a positive long term effect on overall fire conditions, the smoke, humidity and cooler temperatures did decrease fire behaviour and support ground crews direct attack objectives. Today, July 27, temperatures are expected to increase to 20-24 with RH decreasing to 30-25%. Southerly winds are anticipated throughout the day, increasing into the afternoon. A risk of lightning with some precipitation is forecasted for the norther regions of the fire centre. Tomorrow, July 28, the risk of lightning increases throughout the fire centre with some precipitation expected for the northern region. Southerly winds are expected to shift to west/northwesterly in the evening. Operations Update In the north, the Lessard Lake Wildfire is growing into the Itcha Ilgachuz Park, where it is self-extinguishing in the alpine regions and in the east where it is running into previously burned areas. Heavy equipment as created access routes and established control lines along the southwestern flank. Structure protection has been established on infrastructure and values to the south. Smoke is visible to Anahim Lake, Ulkatcho and nearby communities. The Ulkatcho First Nation and the Cariboo Regional District have issued an Evacuation Alert for this wildfire.
